Hi, I hope I can help...I am a certified Behavior Heath Para-Professional, and a Recovery Support Specialist. I also have Bi-Polarism, Manic Depression, and Social Anxiety. First off, Strattera is a medicine used to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children, adolescents, and adults. The only side effects that is known are Nausea, Tiredness, and rarely liver damage, and Suicidal thoughts, (which may indicate why you were placed on other medication.........mainly the Nortriptyline.) Nortriptyline is used to relieve symptoms of depression such as feelings of sadness, worthlessness, or guilt; loss of interest in daily activities; changes in appetite; tiredness; sleeping too much; insomnia; and thoughts of death or suicide. It has a long list of side effects, but nothing indicating a lack of sexual desire. Wellbutrin is prescribed to help relieve major depression. It has a low risk of sexual side effects, it was mainly used for people complaining about the side effects in other anti depression drugs.....................I hoped that helped.....it just takes a little bit of research. By the way, I am on Depakote ER 1000mg daily, and my sex drive is great. My girlfriend is on Risperdal, and her sex drive is normal............I just had a thought, how is your metabolism? My girlfriend and I both have very high metabolisms.

This sounds depressing.
As mentioned, discuss this with your Doctor. Maybe there another approach to solving your problems instead of just treating the symptoms with medication.
