It's kind of like an "emotional baggage" thing.

All the good, all the bad, all the happy, and sad- over time it all amonts up. That is what makes you who you are.

i am thinking that it means: we all go through things/ different circumstances in life, and every experience contributes to who we become as a person when we are older.
