Thats not entirely true. Lots of people care about Global Warming. The reason why lots of people don''t care about Global Warming is because it hasn't had a really big effect on them yet. People just dismiss it as 'not true' or a 'hoax' or just another way for the politicians to take money out of taxpayers pockets. Most people don't want to change, and don't see the effect that Global Warming/Climate Change will have on future generations.

The real question is NOT whether or not there is something commonly called "global warming" the question is should and will human beings become more responsible with their environment? The answer to should is "yes" the answer to will is "I don't know."

. As long as people insist on making important issues political and business fodder, there is little hope. But more important, as long as the average as long as people want to live how they want to live, there is little hope.

Whether or not you are Republican, Democrat, Christian, Muslim, Jew, or atheist; you can't argue that good health doesn't depend on exercise and proper nutrition.

You can't argue that smoking cigarettes is good for people.

You can't argue that most of the cleansers, detergents, and sprays in our homes are good for people.

You can't argue that a diet high in animal flesh is good for people.

You can't argue that the lifestyle habits of the majority of Americans are not out of control.

This brings me to your question "why doesn't anybody care about global warming?"

Answer me this, what are the things people care about? For the most part, themselves and themselves alone. Become a person who cares about other people first and foremost and you will become a person who will change the world.

People dont care about global warming because it doesn't effect them on a personal level such as 9/11 where it hit close to home and millions were effected on a personal level whereas global warming's effects are mainly hurting animals and the earth its self and not changing anything we do on a day-to-day basis like airport security is a way of life.

Yeah, ok. Let's name some animals that are becoming extinct because of GLOBAL WARMING. And don't give me a cartoon video of a polar bear because there are more polar bears today than ever. Check the facts why don't you?

Animals are becoming extinct from people over-hunting, introduction of non-native species, and natural causes. That's right I said natural causes, just like the millions of species who have gone extinct before us, they will continue to go extinct regardless if we are around or not.

I loath global warming and anyone who believes in the piece of junk science. It has taken the attention away from all the REAL issues that we CAN solve, and we are going to end up doing more harm by ignoring real issues for this fake one if we don't wake up, and soon!!!

i think its easier for people not to care. They would rather just continue with their normal lives. plus, if nothing is going to happen in their lifetime then they think it's unimportant. their is also the fact that people are so obsessive about money. large company's, not only oil and gas company's, would rather send out false information to the people because global warming does not benefit them financially. but their are still many people the are very concerned about global warming. if the world made it easier to become more green then i believe people would be very willing to switch over. such as, if grocery stores started to charge for plastic or paper bags rather than give discounts of cloth ones.

If the extinction of animal species is your concern, you should concentrate your efforts on saving a portion of rain forest, or stopping illegal poaching in other countries. 'Global Warming' is just a theory, and not fact. Satellite data actually shows the Earth to be cooling slightly. There are real threats to wildlife that are not imaginary.
Do not believe every doom Sayer who stands on a corner with a sign saying the world will end. There are natural cycles in the climate of the Earth, and it is arrogant to think that man could affect them.
There are plenty of organizations who would welcome your support, and actually do something about protecting wildlife. Contribute to Ducks Unlimited, The World Wildlife Fund or some other mainstream organization that promotes change by purchasing land to preserve for species protection.
If anyone tries to convince you that global warming is real, and caused by man, just ask for empirical evidence. We all learned in fifth grade science that empirical evidence is the only proof of a hypothesis, and no one has offered any to support the theory of man made global warming. They will offer plenty of testimonial by actors, and "has been politicians turned movie stars", (Did you know Al Gore claimed to have invented the Internet ?), but no scientifically based empirical evidence.

There are many of people that really care about whats happening with global warming. You see it's very difficult to fix the problem. Not everyone is going to help out this problem. Al Gore is trying to help and let people know that we humans are to the source of this problem. Some people think it's the El Nino, recent hurricane, or some of the hurrican seasons. But I believe we are the problem, some people don't seem to care. But you wont believe how much people are trying to save our planet, and trying to fix this problem.

Your statement isn't true. Millions of people are concerned about global warming.

We all need to educate ourselves about it and spread the word without being obnoxious or pushy. The zeal of some folks turns others off.

No body likes being lied to. The first link I will provide shows over 17,000 scientist who sworn AGAINST "Global Warming" as being caused by man. The UN is the entity that came up with global warming and if the USA signs on (The Kyoto Pact), expect heavy taxation as this is just a ploy for financial gain. because there are political groups that are spreading lies and controlling the thoughts of the gullible...there isn't enough support yet by the common man because of the lies said to him....Even NASA has become political and its Bush-appointed head has decided not to even investigate it.

Habitat is changing because of climate change...some creature may benefit from the weather and some may be adverely affected
