what is a rechargable battery and where do i get one!?!?!?!?!?!?

i have four standard double-a batteries in my camera...is that a rechargable?

if not, where do i get rechargables and how much do they cost?

A rechargable is a battery that you can use over and over
again. You can buy them at Walmart, Sears or K Mart or
online.

Go to the camera section of any WalMart and look for rechargable batteries there.

You should be able to find a package with 4 AA batteries and a charger for around $20.

When looking into rechargables, look for two things:
1) "NiMH" on the package. It stands for Nickel Metal Hydride and they are currently the best rechargables for your camera.
2) Also look for the highest milliamp rating you can find. It should look something like this "2500mAh" either on the package or on the batteries themsleves. The higher the rating, the longer they last. Kodak makes 2500mAh 'AA' batteries that charge in one hour.

Do not attempt to charge ordinary batteries.
Don't be fooled by some "Digital Camera Batteries" they are not rechargable.
Look for "rechargable" on the package.

these are batteries that can simply...be recharged when dead. They are a tad more expensive than regular batteries but your best bet is to go to Target or Walmart.

You also have to buy a charger for them. It plugs into the wall and the batteries sit in it when you're not using them.

Rechargeable batteries are the best for digital cameras and things being used often.

The charger and batteries will run you about 20 or 25 dollars. They're well worth it.

DO NOT TRY TO RECHARGE STANDARD BATTERY.
Go to Walmart. I got my 4 AA charger and 4 batteries for $10. They last at least 10 times longer than the best regular batteries.

Any good rechargable AAs (like the 2500mAh Energizers I have) will last just as long as the Nyko Wiimote packs. But the AAs have several advantages: 1) About the same price for a charger and 4 AAs as for a Nyko charger and 2 packs. But Spare AAs are cheaper and easier to get. 2) AAs and chargers for them can be used for other devices. 3) AAs can be charged outside the Wiimote, meaning when they run low, you just swap them out. 4) You can buy a 15-minute charger for the AAs. No so for the Wiimote battery packs. 5) Major battery manufacturers are less likely to go bankrupt or stop supporting their solution for the Wiimote.
