its healthy and will be permanent to lose 1-2lbs a week so if you lose more you are not losing fat but water weight and muscle and slowing down metabolism and you will gain back more than lost as soon as start eating normal again. you can lose fat that fast - there is just no way.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I'm worried about how young you are and your concern with weight. If this was an issue of being in shape I'd be happier. I know girls your age will be cruel with name calling and indeed if they are jealous they will try to make you feel bad, but also the people around you are going to be good sources for keeping you in check. If you are losing too much weight at once, it's dangerous. You sound like you're on the right track however other than smaller meals I don't know what you are doing. Get some local help, from parents or a coach or something. Keep in mind that as you continue to lose weight, the pounds will come off slower and slower, don't be discouraged. Good luck and treat yourself well!

Don't let your friends worry you. They are called 'dream stealers' and you should not let them keep you from following a healthy diet. They are just being selfish. When people want to lose weight by eating smaller portions this is the 'main ingredient' of staying thinner and probably healtier. However, do not neglect your nutritional requirements. Make certain that you have plenty of 'all varieties' of veggies, your green leafys and so forth. And, you could also take a dietary supplement to cover the rest. The 'green veggies' are most all 'antioxident'. Also, be certain you keep plenty of O.J. in your diet during the summer months when it's hot and you may be losing fluid. Orange Juice will naturally replace your potassium requirements, which are essential for running the heart.
Many people think that 'water alone' will do this, or fancy waters (other then Gatorade) will give them. Don't be fooled. If you drink anything other than O.J. or Gatorade, then you will be neglecting yourself. At one point cardiologist were recommending it. I would say drink the O.J. backed with purified water, or most especially 'spring water' which has the 'reverse osmosis' printed on the label. FIJI is one of the better Artesian Waters there is.

Most likely if you think you are not on a healthy diet you are right. Take it slow - that way you can adjust you're body to you're new weight, and give exess skin a chance to dissapear. You're friends calling you anorexic is a compliment - it means there jealous you're lossing weight. Also , you may want to look the word friend up in the dictionary. You are doing the right thing, and you should be proud of it. Remember - always love you're body - you'll have it for the rest of you're life.
Good Luck!

Best of luck with your weight loss and stay healthy

if you want to loose 5-7 more pounds then that is a good way to do it. don't worry about your weight right now, you are still growing. Your body naturally gets bigger then you get taller and you get skinny again. You don't want to mess with your growing by loosing too muc weight. 5-7 pounds should be ok though--so long as you are happy. Plus, the less you learn to eat now, the less you will need when you are older.

TRY LISTENING TO YOUR FRIENDS IF YOU AREN'T
STISFIED WITH WHAT THEY SAY THEN TRY TO MAKE YOUR SELF BETTER IF YOU DONT LIKE HOW YOU ARE SO IF YOU WANT TO LOSE A FEW POUNDS THEN DO IT AND YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK BECAUSE IF YOU LOSE MORE THEN 15 POUNDS YOU WOULD BE ANOREXIC SO YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK FOR LOSING JUST 5-7 POUNDS

good for you, for getting motivated! smaller portions are always a plus. but don't eat more portions, or that will cancel it out. i would also recommend going on a jog at least 3 times a week. it tones up those muscles! also, muscle weighs MORE than fat, so focus more on inches around your waist instead of pounds. and as for your friends, calmly but sternly tell them to knock it off. if they don't stop after a couple times, i'd find someone new to hang out with.

If you don't want to be fat . . . continue what you are doing, just as long as it's healthy! Trust me, I used to weigh 313 pounds and I now weigh 140 and I'm 5'8", so I know what freedom from extra pounds can mean. If you don't want to be overweight continue a healthy diet - cutting back on your meals is okay, add in some exercise. I'm curious, are your friends chunky or slender?

As long as you're eating healthy and not starving yourself, you are on the right track and are not anorexic. If your friends are making fun of you, maybe it's because they're jealous that you're looking better then they are! You're fine, no worries!
