When a man is attracted to a woman, is this usually a two-way thing or is it more often just in the imagination of one person? Isn't there such a thing as getting to like someone who likes you? I'd really like to hear some those of you who have experience with this. Thanks!

Anything to do with a two people is always a two way street. If it ever is a one way street it leads straight down south ... sure fast way to ending any relationship. A man and woman should be attracted to each other, not just that the man is attracted to the woman and she's not that into him. That just doesn't work out, cuz what happens is the guy will always compliment and the woman will not get it or return it. Feelings get hurt. It always takes to in any kind of relationship. I'm sure the man will get tired of telling the woman "you look great" and not getting so much as a sincere "you look great too". It sucks!

I have been in 3 relationships, all touch each side of the spectrum. I was in a relationship where I was loved, but did not feel the same. Then, I fell in love with someone who did not feel the same. Now, I am in a relationship where the feeling is mutual. It's all different, every person who is in a relationship. Some people can fall in love with someone over time or rather quickly. It depends on the person & how they feel towards their counterpart. I personally am happy my ex did not fall in love with me, because I would have never found the true love of my life that I have now.

It's hard to say. I will give you my story though. I have been madly in love with the same guy for about 5 years. I've never felt a stronger chemistry with anyone in my life. He acknowledged that he had feelings for me too but never did a thing about them. I never could understand how he could turn away from something so strong. But I'm not his type. I am 5 years older than him, I have kids, I'm not a high maintainance girl. So I don't know if it's always a two way street. In my case it was, but then it wasn't. Good luck to you in whatever it is your struggling with.

ideally it is a two way thing, and sometimes is a mutual attraction, but unfortunately too it can be one sided, but to avoid making a fool of ourselves, it is better to try and read the situation first, body language often shows quite pointedly
