Unfortunately you have picked a breed, the Parson Russell Terrier as they are now titled by the AKC, that is a very aggressive dog towards not only other dogs but to all other animals, with exceptions of course. You should expose your pup to as many people & dogs as conveniently possible & be consistent in the socialising routine. Good luck!

Contact your local vets .It is popular today to have puppy socialization groups run free or for a small fee at vets.My vets also provide a free health advice drop in clinic for puppy's.A good vets will be able to help you but i would recommend you stay away from the big chain vets as they seem more interested in the money than the welfare of your pet. Find a small local independent vet instead!
You really have to do this as soon as possible because early socialization is vital.

Call your local vet clinic, they often have the names and #'s of reputable puppy classes that you can take him to. Also do you have any pet shops in your area that let you bring the dog in the store with you? This works great also to socialize your dog. The next time you go shoping for him bring him along with you. Dog parks are great also. Good luck

Obedience classes are really good for socializing puppies. Try asking your local vet, shelter, petstore, or AKC club about good obedience programs in your area. The classes are really good for teaching your pup how to interact with other dogs and people.

Get another dog. Yes i am crazy, but if you start by just separating the 2, then letting you russel have something of the other dogs with its scent on it, they get used to eachother by smell. I swear it works.

Do you have a Petsmart or Petco where you can take the dog? Pets are welcome there while you shop for them, or just to bring them in and socialize with people and other animals.
