Should I be mad at my Grandmother for yelling at me then hitting me for something i didn't do??

The thing is that my grandma punished me because all I did was at the computer playing chess and my brother and other friends were outside does she have the right to blame it on me?

Nobody ever has the right to hit someone for anything. It is all about communication. Physical abuse is NOT okay, and as far as I know, is considered abuse. Yelling is one thing, but if she is hitting you, I would talk to someone you trust about it that can help you. If you are comfortable talking to her about it, then you could tell her that you deserve respect and that you feel she is not treating you this way.

I don't understand why she would punish you for just playing chess on the computer....unless she had asked you to do something and you disobeyed. Not quite sure what she is blaming on you.

Were you grounded from the computer or did not ask for permission ?
Suck it up, I am sure she had her reasons . Hitting is not the answer and maybe she should have used better judgment . Regardless don't be mad at Granny,,,,,,,,,,,apologize and mind Granny next time !!!

if you werent there and didnt do anything then yes your right to feel mad ....
you should sit down with your grandmum and explain to her you didnt do anything and tell her you feel really hurt and upset that she hit you .....what were you supposed to of done anyways
