I just checked in on a question up for voting, and the answer winnning the vote did not AT ALL attempt to answer the question. It is so silly that the only pick worse than the asker's pick is when is someone asks questions about the sport and someone says something retarded that gets voted best answer.

Many have multiple screen names and they ask and answer their own questions then pick themselves as best. Too many people ask questions to get valadation rather than the correct answer. If you kiss up and completely agree with the asker rather than answering the question you will get more best answers

Maybe the person(or persons) voting on the question/answer is the same person(like the Sanjaya scandal on American Idol) just their alter ego.
I mean there are some that the questions asked and or answers posted are so close that only the same person could have written them.And how big of a problem is it to make up another alte ego.

Its irritating, but I look at it as the person doing the asking must have not cared much about what the answer was if they picked a dumb answer. Or maybe the dumb answer they picked was what they wanted to hear and not what was the truth. Who know. Don't let it get to you, keep putting your effort into giving good answers. I think generally most people appriciate it.

It doesn't seem to matter whether the best answer is selected by the asker or by the voters. Game-pointing and collusion also play a large role in the selection, but the points don't mean anything. I know how you feel.

I heard that there was a guy out there that got like 4 different accounts and he posts questions are on and then goes back and answers them with his other accounts and then picks himself as the best answer. I bet it that weirdo u talkin about.

That is why I will choose the best answer myself, rather that leave it up to the voters. One time I didn't get any decent and serious answers, so I deleted my own question.
