Chances are, your "friends" this year may not be the same group of friends you have next year; however, your brother will always be your brother. My brother and I were very close and there were a few times I excluded him from stuff and now as an adult, I feel guilty.

Don't go along with hating someone just to be a part of the crowd. Chances are that they don't hate their brothers as much as they claim either. If you and your brother get along good, don't mess that up just to get approval from some friends. Your brother will love you long after your friends have moved on.

If they say they hate their brother just ask them why and they will start talking about why, then you just don't mention your brother. IF they ask just say he's OK most of the time. You don't have to rave about him, but you don't have to insult him either. Although they probably would't care if you said you loved him. They may not fully understand how you guys get along, but I wouldn't drop a friend for getting along with her brother. The ones that say they hate their brother don't really mean it anyway. Some siblings just find it hard to get along, but in reality they love them very much. If anyone else ever picked on their brother they would probably turn on the person that did, and if anything bad ever happened to their brothers they would be very sad, so don't take what they say about their brothers to heart.
I used to say I hated my sister whenever she made me mad, but I loved her very much. We were just too much alike sometimes so we would fight. I would have never thought anything bad about someone that said they loved their sister either though.

I have two brothers whom I love very much. But when we were growing up there were days when I didn't like them very much. There was that incident with the doll who lost her head in a wrestling match with GI Joe. No matter what other people think and do about their family members love yours and never hesitate to let them know you do. In your life time friends will come and go but your brother will always be there.

he is your brother and you should love him. If your friends hate their brothers then that is their problem If you want to when your friends are with you at your house have your brother join you and the rest of the girls and show them you love you brother and since you love him when he is ready to get himself a girlfriend it will be easy for him

That is a really stupid reason for friends(or anyone) to be mean to someone -
he is family and you should love him
just because they hate their brothers or whatever doesnt mean you have to hate yours.
these 'friends' dont sound as though they have much
maybe you should hang around with other people

Oh my god!!
Dont hate your brother just because your friends hate theirs!!!
Go on, go give him a big kiss, right in front of your friends!
If they have a problem with you liking your brother then they are not real friends anyway! That would be jealousy.
Haha :)

If you love your brothers, you are extremely lucky, don't let your freinds influence those relationships. Remember that freinds come and go, but your brothers will ALWAYS be your brothers no matter what you do.
