Does anyone have a good full body exercise routine that they use to stay in shape? Since I don't have any heavy duty exercise equipment I'm thinking of something more along the lines of doing "X" amount of sit ups and push ups each day.

Yup there the best to get you going.

Try doing pushups with your hands on a chair and your feet on the floor. you have to do 40+ before you can progress to straight floor pushups. Once you can do 40+ on the floor try and have your feet on the chair and your hands on the floor.
This exercise beats most mechanical setups hands down (pun)

Cheers and good luck

Don't forget to throw lunges and squats in your routine. When you do your push-ups, do them to the point of muscle failure and change the distance between your hands for more effect. Do crunches, not sit-ups, unless the sit-ups are done with some weights added in. When you do your crunches, leg lifts, and knee bends, be sure to burn the abs up. Abs are very quick healing muscles; You can beat them up pretty good.

I would throw in some light weights. Don't ever over do it. Listen to your body and you will be fine.

Have fun!
