MOS = Military Occuptional Speciality (for the Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps).

The Navy uses NEC - Naval Enlisted Code. I recall that in the Navy you have a PRIMARY NEC that indicates your MAIN JOB, and then secondary NEC's that indicate additional skills and training and your possible CURRENT billet
