Do all old games for Windows XP run on Vista, ex. Warcraft 3, WoW, Roman Total War?

How about other Windows XP programs? I have a Video editor that I would like to continue to use. Will I be able to run it on Windows Vista?

Thanks

You shuold stay with XP, its stable and more importantly, it works.

Too many users make this mistake of seeing all the fancy features on Vista, sadly, what you see is not what you get, many games and hardware cant run that well on Vista.

IMO - Vista is stable and I have had no issues upgrading. People fear new things and people make upgrade issues into a huge deal. Make sure you can get Vista drivers before you upgrade. Make sure the software you want has Vista support.

go to windows vista.com, look for the upgrade adviser. download and run it. it will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about what will work or won't work with vista should you decide to upgrade.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH WINDOWS VISTA WAS HORRIBLE WHEN IT CAME TO COMPATIBILITY. DRIVERS ARE NECCESARY FOR HARDWARE, AND FOR GAMES I AM NOT SURE BUT TRY ANY WAYS
