That's one question Christians have never really answered. There really is no purpose for having a Heaven. The most they have come up with is that you spend each of the next infinity telling God how great he is.

A god creates the whole universe with more stars in the sky than grains of sand on all the beaches of the world. Then he creates a little pocket universe so the bit of scum on a speck of dust in one corner of a mediocre galaxy can sing to him forever, and another pocket universe where he can torture the rest forever. Sorry, but that's insane.

It is human nature to fear the unknown. It is not abnormal for you to have doubts about some place that you can only get to through the loss of your human life. I am a hospice nurse and have attended the deaths of more people than I can count. I will tell you this the one' who were saved nd knew that they were going to heaven had a look of total peace on their faces and I have had a couple of deaths that I attended that scared me literally as the patients seemed frightened and on even said that the devil was coming for him. You have no reason to fear heaven. It will be a wonderful place free of illness, worries, cares, hurt and pain.

Maybe you have become so comfortable in the physical world that you fear moving on to the spiritual world because you do not know what this will be like for you and maybe the thought of something new is what's scaring you.
Take care,

I don't think we are going to have to worry about that. Heaven is created for the angelic beings and God himself.
If you don't believe me, then why is God going to create a new heaven and a new earth?
I think those who are found worthy of heaven will be placed on that new earth that God is going to create. Why else would he be planning to create it?
And, I think it will be much like this one, but larger. There will be no death, so it will have to be larger to inhabit the people who are going to be placed there.
And, although it will be much like this one, there will be no evil or violence. It will be as God intended it to be before we allowed satan to ruin it.

People seem to have some kind of fear of "coming to the end." I don't know why. It seems rather natural to me.

It's hard to say why heaven would scare you. Perhaps you are not completely believing it is what they say it is, or perhaps you are afraid you won't get there?
