I grew up on JQ in the 70s, even though it was in reruns at the time. It was a cool show. It had something of a "James Bond for Kids" flavor. I've seen the newer version, but it doesn't have the same vibe as the 1960s version, partly because the animation looks so cheap in comparison. Actually, the movie "The Incredibles" had more of a real "Johnny Quest" vibe than the newer JQ TV show.

One of the best ever. Designed to bridge the gap between adult and children's cartoons both it and it's 1990's remake were excellent
The show featured Johnny, his buddy Hadji, His Father Dr Quest and their bodyguard Race Bannon oh and of course the dog bandit
Supporting characters were great especially the mysterious Jezebel Jade and the Villain Dr. Zin
What a great show

I watch Johnny Quest all the time on the Boomerang channel. I reckon it's ok.
I think Race is hot. lol

Only Johnny Quest,his Indian companion,his dog and his father who lead them them into all sorts of adventures..loved it then..those were the days..

Yes I was a kid when this tv show was on, good show, he had a black and white dog named Bandit and Johnny's dad was on the show also, the show was a cartoon, as kids and only seven channels to choose from.....we thought it was a good show.

I used to watch it back in the day. I own it on DVD. Mike Road did a great job as the voice of Race Bannon.

and then later he went on to denounce less then jake by calling them sell outs "johnny quest thinks were sell outs, sell outs" ok i am sorry i just dont get to quote LTJ very often!

Yeah i'm a fan of that show, it was showed recently on Cartoon Network. My cousin and I were watching it and its pretty funny how the primitive dude is always grunting and making confused faces lol.

It`s a book i once read, can`t remember details but there was a guy and lots of adventure, the Indiana Jones kind.
