Go to your local ice arena and talk to the people in the pro shop and they can help you decide on a boot, and what size etc. You can get approximate prices from www.skatebuys.com and do some research before you go so you know what is good and not good etc.

Why don't you go down to your local speed skating oval and ask the skaters or coaches there where they buy their skates?
