Do any of us really know?
There must be a reason for this. Maybe we will be able to plead our case. Otherwise, it would be stupid to go through with the whole thing anyway.
God does change his mind. Remember, he was going to kill everyone in the flood. had it not been for the prayers of Noah, he and his family would have died too.
As for your toothache. You probably need a root canal. The pain is indicative to a bigger problem. If you can't get in to see your dentist on an emergency basis, you can take up to 600mg. every 4 to 6 hours of Advil or ibuprofen for your pain until you can get in tomorrow.

I think you have partially answered your own question. Trying to make lame excuses is the key. He does know what you have and have not done and He wants you to stand before Him and give an honest account of yourself. He doesn't want lame excuses. If you feel embarrassed about the life you have been living, a life which will cause you to be seen by God as lame, change! Start a new life today. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, and receive God's grace and forgivness. Do it so you CAN stand before Him one day and not have to make lame excuses.

You won't be explaining anything in Heaven. God will do all the explaining. He will say to those who know Him enter into the joy of the Lord. He will clearly show those who don't know Him why they are being sentenced to eternal misery.
There will be no real need to explain anything then anyway because all who stand before Him will know immediately why they are going one way or the other.
In the book of Revelation it speaks of "books" being opened and the dead judged out of those things written in the books.
On the other hand there is a "book of life" which contains the names of the righteous.
It will all be clear when the books are opened.

Yes it's true God knows all. You won't even have the power to lie once you're dead. Everything you have done from birth to death will be seen by all.
People's choices are plain. In black and white. Either understand that God is pulling you to him to search for his truths. Accept what the bible says, and give yourself to Christ, so that the blood of Christ can wash away your sins, and allowing him to live in you, and show you the real truth.
Or- Deny that he exists, or go to some other false god.
He gives everyone their own free will. And alot of people will say "how can a loving God send people to hell?" He doesn't send them there.. the people choose hell. Plain and simple.
It's like me buying a car and not reading the manual, and when it breaks down from not doing the necessary tuneup.. whose fault is that? It's mine.
Only you can't gain salvation after you're dead. Because its judgment time. So read the bible. Pray and ask God to show things to you. Accept the gift that Christ gives. Which is salvation through his blood. You gain access to heaven in accepting Christ into your life, and having the Holy Spirit live in you, and working your life off of God's word. He knows you can't be perfect, but through Christ, you can be. Christ's blood blotts out our sin. Every sin in the world was on Jesus Christ when he died on the cross. LITERALLY. Jesus became a sin offering for us. Because he loves us that much.

By accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior you will have an advocate (lawyer). He, Jesus, will say that your wrongs (sins) are forgiven you. Because your name is in the Lambs book of Life.
You have until you die to make this decision. It is a free gift to all those whom ask for Jesus to come into your heart. Many things that once were a mystery about the Bible will start becoming known to you when you do...and mean it! Those whom do not accept Jesus will never fully understand what the Bible says. Why not accept the free gift today of salvation? It is easy...just ask Jesus for forgiveness and ask Him into your life...He will take care of the rest!

The word of God says it is appointed for man onec to die then face the judgement. Everbody is going to be judged. But the ones who are saved from God's fiery wrath will be juged more on what they knew, and it will be about rewards given out according to what he or she has done. You can also lose your rewards, but still be saved. But if you are not in Christ and have asked for forgivness of all your sins and tell God how sory you are and you do not forgive people, you will land straight into Hell. with no more chances. You decied, where you want to spend eternity. And considering Hell is not a nice place, and concidering Jesus loves you enough to die for you and your sins should be enough for you to come to repentance in Christ and be saved from the wrath to come. If you need to e-mail me on this you can. It is jesusisahoney@yahoo.com.au. All the best, Leanne

If you are saved by Jesus' blood, then you will go to heaven. Your sins after salvation will determine whether your riding a bike or a cadillac.lol

Gezza, have any children? Ever caught one of them with their hand in the cookie jar right before diner?. Even thought you witnessed them in action you will still ask them 'what are you doing!!' because you want them to acknowledge they are doing something forbidden.

When Christ returns, we will all be judged on our works, not our sins. The only ones that will be judged on their sins are the ones who have never accepted Christ and sought forgiveness
