You don't have to do anything. Their momma will show them where to go potty.

Get a very small box so the kittens can crawl in and out of it, and place cat litter in it about 1-2 inches of litter. They sell small disposable kinds at pet stores, and some food stores, it have to be "kitten size" the kittens will know what to do and make sure you tell the kittens(s) they are good kitty(s) when they get done in the box change the box or replace with a new disposal kitty box once a week or sooner if need be.

Kittens are easy to train. If the kitten is weaned from its mother, all you really have to do is place the kitten in the litter box to show them where it is. Their natural instinct will take over from there. Just be sure that if the kitten is really small, that the litter box is not too deep. If it is, they won't be able to get in and out of it on their own.

A lot depends on your situation. The momma cat usually starts to potty train at about 4 weeks. At 6 weeks, they are usually fully trained. If you have no mommy cat, it is a lot harder to train. I bottle fed many kittens and I had to pee them. I would hold them over the litter box and rub their genitals (while wearing rubber gloves) and let the pee drip in the litter pan. Do not clean it. Then I would put the kitten down in the litter box and let her sniff it. Then I would take my finger and cover it up. The first time that Prints used it by herself, she was 5 weeks old. I started showing her how at 4 weeks.

I'm not sure how old, but as soon as they start walking around just put them in the litter box to make sure they know where it is and if they have an accident, then put the accident in the litter box so they can see where it's supposed to go. Most cats are fairly easy to train...if you have a really hard time at it, then you may want to ask your vet to make sure there are no medical probs. Good luck!

Kittens will start to use the cat box around 6 weeks or so. When they are able to move around well and climb into the box. To get them to use it, simply put the cat box somewhere the kitten can access it at all times. Put the kitten in the box and let him/her smell it and figure it out. Cats are naturally neat and seem to know what the cat box is for. They will go in it, as long as they know where it is.

all the cats i've everhad started using it as soon as I introduced it to them. The youngest was 4 weeks old (the mother abanndoned her) I just sat it down in a open area that was quite placed her in it and she started using it. If there is an accident that occurs its a good Idea to clean it up from the floor and place it in the litter box and place the cat in after they ususally get the hint. Its very important to be patient because not all cats get it so easily especially if there isnt a mother to teach them. Dont ever yell or strike the cat if they have an accident or rub their nose in it. It only makes the problem worse.

to most cats it comes naturally but if it isnt working for yours you could try putting it in yourself or when you see your cat acting strange (like its gotta go) you could see what happens if you put them in there yourself. be sure to praise when they use it and scold when they dont. make sure that when you are scolding NEVER hit your cat or it will be wary of you. you should also make sure the litter box is easy to get to. and not using a flap would help some

hope i helped =]
