if Jesus came down and told you in your face:
Matthew 19:17
.... Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
1st commandment: you shall not take other gods before Me! (God)
if Jesus told you in your face:
John 8:42
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
if he said this in your face:
"my God, my God, why haven't you forsaken me?"
if he said this in your face:
Mark 12:29
And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
then will you still says to Jesus you are God ? then you have no excues when you face the real God in the day of judgment.

CSI Calleigh, how disbeliever and stubborn can you be. even if Jesus telling you to worship the God who sent him, you still disbelieve in God. good luck in the day of jugement.

don't forget that Jesus is INDEED a GOD for He is a part of the Holy Trinity - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
can't you really comprehend that matter or you are just one of the crappy anti Christs that does nothing but to ruin our faith to Him?
so what do you do if Jesus said this to your face:
"you shall not put the Lord your God into test".?

1 Corinthians 8:6
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
Maybe you misunderstood the other versus, or they are not in contention as your flawed understanding.
Trinity aside. If you believe in Jesus as God's son and the architect of your salvation, as prescribed by God. I do not see this as an issue. But, from your perspective I do see why this would be a point of salvation. We cannot worship the Son as equal to the Father. So, while I appreciate your concern, I am not worried. The Trinity is very confusing and give many pagans an open avenue to mock believers. When Jesus comes again they and others like them will be tossed away with the chaff.
I just got back from Church and guess what? Our Sunday school class was in John 10 and we read through to vs.34. I thought about your question when we got to verse 30. It says "I and the Father are one." What is your take on that? Also, what do you think about Jesus saying "I sanctify myself"(later in the book of John) Not to mention he gave the disciples his power, that he said came from the Father, now how can he pass the power on unless he has the right to do so? A poor example but if I give my son the keys to my car that does not mean he has the right to give it to some one else.

I'd call the Council of Nice, cause a schism in the church, and watch the theological debate rage for well over a millenia.
If anyone told me any of that to my face I would laugh and suggest a good psychiatrist who could help them with their delusions. You ever noticed how messiahs and prophets exhibit all the classic symptons of schizophrenia, and their followers the symptons of gullibility?

yes, because I understand his message. Just as you believe the Koran is the "Word" of Allah, will Christians believe Jesus is the living Word of God.

When you stand before God He will be looking for the blood of His Son upon you. If you had never asked for this blood to wash away all of your sin then it will be a sad moment for you.

Yes, because He said a lot more than that. If He had only claimed to be God's son, or a prophet, He would not have been executed for blasphemy. His name is Immanuel, which means God with us. So He DID claim to be God!

ignore the trolls, you are making some good points. The Trinity was a politically-oriented, man-made doctrine based on a heavily biased and selective interpretation of scriptures.

Uhh, sorry. Jesus was/is God.
Nice misquote in there too "Why haven't you..." should be "why have you..."
Yes I would still believe Jesus is and forever shall be my Lord and Savior.

I'd tell him to talk normally,so idiots can't misconstrue his words, then I'd teach him how to write stuff down,so a second hand wont get it wrong.
