They ripped me off and are a complete scam. Maybe some people have had a good experience with them, but I can see from sites like consumeraffairs and Better Business Bureau and my own experience that they are theives.

I switched to them for residential service 3 years ago and the service was easy to set up and has worked great. My phone bills were going up every month, and the plans would change all the time and I would end up paying additional costs because I didn't read some fine print.

So we tried to switch to them for a business account and it was a disaster. We were without phone service for 2 weeks, costomers called and were told our number was disconnected. The old carrier would not put a forwarding message on the number as they said they just passed it to Vonage. Call after call after call. Hours upon hour upon hour of being on hold and trying to get a hold of a manager. No one had any idea what was happening or how to fix the problem. Thankfully we were somehow able to switch back to ATT. As for all our time and costs, lost business, Vonage not only will not pay that, but demands we pay some basic fee for the next 12 months.

Start a yahoogroup with the subject "Vonage" and see how many sign up. Make sure you write a good introduction. May not change the world of Vonage but will at least get the attention of lot of people considering the service.

Depends what it actually is that you feel they did to rip you off.

More than likely - you had buyers remorse and are pissed you have to abide y the contract you signed going into it.

I have used Vonage for over a year, no complaints. I have a home line, home office line, dedicated fax line, virtual number for my kids, a toll free number attached to a business line I use, and a phone number setup to a USB Flash phone that I use on my laptop when travelling.

The Smart Car Mercedes Benz and Swatch makes is comming to these shores soon. The placement of the motor and special tools necessary to diagnosis and repair. The BMW mini cooper is also cramped and hard to work on so until a Smart mechanic quits and starts a shop, your stuck with the servicing dealer. Try another dealer next closest to you.

I love Vonage. My service works really well and it's cheaper than my previous service.
