damaged image of Christianity
The church is bigger and better than Fallwell, and includes nonconservative values very contrary to Fallwells

The question concerns Fallwell, not others

Rejoice in the Lord, not in Fallwell's politics
Fallwell is not The Lord

I think he damaged the country more than the neocons when he pumped up the egos of the religious right and convinced them that everyone should be like them and nothing else should be tolerated

The non-conservative church is non-Christian.

Do a research on Falwell-I think you will be surprised at what he has done. He did more for the poor that all the rich people in the world put together. What have you done for the poor? What have you done for all the pregnant girls who had no place to go-see what Falwell did. You have no idea.

SATAN IS A LIAR, MURDERER AND THIEF....
JESUS said the gates of hell would not prevail against his church.
Nothing anyone does can damage the church.
The church is the Body of Christ and Jesus is Lord..
the Bible also says we can do nothing AGAINST the truth, but FOR the rruth, so whatever is done, God uses it to glorify himself.
God wins everytime. Everytime.
Jerry Falwell did far more good than bad in his life and this is to his credit and God's glory.

If all the other hypocrites, murderers, fascists, bigots, pedophiles, wife beaters, racists and others who have been leaders in Christianity haven't damaged Christianity, I doubt Fallwell's efforts did much to hurt the church.

If you look into the history of Christianity, it is rife with heinous people. In comparison, Fallwell was just a small time bigot with some money.

i don't think so...those who come to Christ do so regardless of what someone like falwell said or did...those who reject Christ because of falwell would likely have done so anyway...he was a convenient excuse...in any event, the 'image' of Christ's church (the worldwide body of believers) is only important to the spiritually and intellectually shallow among us...contrary to ad slogans, image is nothing

Fools rant on a dead man after he is gone! Get a life!

If you are a Christian then you are twice a fool. The Bible has stern warnings about Christians putting down other Christians
and especially before the heathen.

If you disagree with him keep it to yourself. God is not pleased with this!

Well don't you have your panties in a wad today? This is the day that the Lord has made and we will be glad and rejoice in it. I just love this site. God bless you and may you find the peace Rev. Fallwell enjoys today.
