in a neutral point of view...are there only advantages in medical science? if there are the disadvantages, what are the possibilities?...need help in bringing up some keypoints in these 2 specific areas..

What good is prolonging life, if that quality of life is not good.Do you really want to go on day after day in suffering and misery? I for one believe that when it is time to die, it is time to GO.

Since people will always value longevity, there will always be financial rewards for extending life expectancy. Say old age robs your mental capacity, eventually you get some kind of chip in your head that gives you instant access to all the worlds knowledge, but inside you feel like a frustrated robot. Does that improve the quality of life?

It should seek to prolong HEALTHY life, or to improve health. I think way to much time, money, etc. is spent on keeping sick people alive longer.
