I could *never* "lovingly embrace" someone who would torture and burn people, least of all my loved ones, for all eternity just because they didn't believe. I refuse to worship your god on moral grounds.

this would properly be an exceptionally fundamentalist view certainly. that's what Hell is approximately, and basically this : GOD can't exchange HIS NATURE —it is apprehensive, regardless of the undeniable fact that it is proper to assert it;—that if we wanted to think of a punishment for an unholy, reprobate soul, we possibly would desire to no longer fancy a much better than to summon it to heaven. Heaven would be hell to an irreligious guy. all of us be attentive to how unhappy we are apt to experience at present day, while on my own interior the midst of strangers, or of adult adult males of diverse tastes and conduct from ourselves. How depressing, working example, would or no longer it is to ought to stay in a distant places land, between a human beings whose faces we by no ability observed formerly, and whose language we would desire to no longer study. And that's yet a faint representation of the loneliness of a guy of earthly tendencies and tastes, thrust into the society of saints and angels. How forlorn would he wander in the process the courts of heaven! He would locate no person like himself; he would see in each direction the marks of God's holiness, and those would make him shudder. He would experience himself continuously in His presence. He would desire to now no longer turn his strategies yet in a diverse way, as he does now, while judgment of right and incorrect reproaches him. He would be attentive to that the eternal Eye became ever upon him; and that Eye of holiness, that's excitement and existence to holy creatures, would look to him a watch of wrath and punishment. GOD can't exchange HIS NATURE Holy He ought to ever be. yet mutually as he's holy, no unholy soul would properly be chuffed in heaven.

No man can JUGDE who has 'eternal life' or who is going to hell, though many with the monotheistic sects like Christianity and Islam like to 'play god', saying anyone that doesn't play with THEIR definitional Ideal is condemned.
Since you like bible verses, you might want to re-read Matt 7:21-23---not everyone that calls 'jesus' lord gets to go to heaven.

Some like it hot when the heat is on! I'll go anywhere as long as it's warm. This Jesus always trying to snuggle up is just....well uncomfortable in a homophobic sort of way.

Which seems better to you?
The loving embrace of your creepy Uncle, y'know the one who's always drinking and likes to kiss you with tongue?
or
Living on the streets, desolate and broke?
I can ask rediculous and pointed questions, too!

If God decides to send people to heaven or hell based only on their belief in "the saving power of Jesus" instead of on how we live our lives, then God is immoral and I would prefer to go to eternal hell than spend time with such a demented deity.

Your question assumes that both of these are actually real.
There is no historical evidence whatsoever that the biblical Jesus ever existed.
Hell is a christian construct from Greek mythology. Even the jews don't believe in Hell... and you claim to get your god from them. He never threatened them or 'non-jews' with it, why would he change his mind later? makes no sense.

I made my choice late in life[30's] and am now blessed to have my three children born-again. Two came early. My oldest girl was a Chriaster,Christmas and Easter, that's when she came. She thought the church kept the Easter lilies in warm weather and poinsettias when it was cold. She is now born into the Kingdom and insisted on a river baptism. My joy is complete.

I choose Jesus, but I understand why people don't believe. Threatening them with hell is DEFINITELY the wrong way to go.

This question limits the answerer to two alternatives, a threat and a promise, neither of which has any basis in reality, and limits the answerer to one of two false choices based upon your current beliefs.
As for me, I choose "None of the Above".
