of course he will be fine. take him with you, remember to look after him.... and make sure he knows the area a little before letting him run around outside on his own.

You make it sound as though you are leaving him behind, if that is what you are planning to do, no of course he won't be OK.
If you meant, will he adjust to the new house, yes after a few days, he should feel right at home. I hope that is what you mean.
If not, please find your cat a good home before you move, and if you can't find someone willing to give your cat a home, call an Animal Rescue Group (NOT A SHELTER) they will find it a foster home until a permanent home can be found.
A shelter will put it in a cage. Your cat will probably die of a broken heart, or the shelter will euthanize it after a few days.
Congratulations on your pregnancy and your new home, and please take your kitty with you, he won't be fine if you don't!

DO NOT abandon your kitty! If that's what you're considering. If for some unfathomable reason you cannot take it with you, make sure that it is handed over to someone who can arrange for it to be re-homed. Assuming you take it with you, though, give it a couple of weeks to get used to the new house smells and establish its indoor territory before letting it out, if it is to be an indoor-outdoor cat.

Whilst you are pregnant avoid cleaning out the litter tray, as toxiplasmosis resides in cat faeces and is dangerous for pregnant women. Otherwise, there is nothing to worry about.

As I have moved 3 times in less than a year and a half, my cat adjusted pretty easily to her new surroundings. The first couple of days were stressful for her and we didn't see her much, but by day 3 in any new place, she was adjusted and back to sleeping on the couch, window sills or exploring boxes. But, Bast also had 2 canine sisters with her to smooth her transition. This is all assuming that your cat is housebound and not of excessive age. Also, congrats on your pregnancy, but I can assure you, Kitty could care less.

He will be fine if you take him with you. Being pregnant is no problem around the cat, despite what you may hear. If the cat stays indoors and is not fed raw meat, he is toxoplasma - safe and so are you, provided that you don't eat raw meat either. Also, even if the cat has toxoplasma, you must just avoid touching and swallowing his feces. Please don't abandon your cat.

Why wouldnt the cat be OK? Keep the cat indoors where it belongs and all should be fine.

im sorry yet I ought to disagree with the respond that publicizes to no longer touch the kittens through fact the mummy will consume or kill them!!what a load of rubbish. my woman has had 3 litters and we've dealt with each and all of the kittens and that they are all nonetheless alive! we've even had to assist a number of them be born. while we %. them up the mummy doesnt strategies in any respect as long as we dont bypass away the room with them and placed them lower back as quickly as mum seems apprehensive. on her final muddle we moved and he or she gave beginning a week later so as long as she is delicate and you preserve her gently then i cant see any issues. she would probable be plenty extra disenchanted in case you left her at the back of. good luck with the kittens.. :)

What are you planning on leaving him behind? What do you mean? If you're worried about him settling into a new place, he will adapt after a few days.
