He might not look girly. It depends on the kind of earrings he'll wear. But I think it is ridiculous for him to et pierced at such a young age. It's just wrong.
I know times are changing and the perception of right and wrong has changed since we were younger but I don't think it's right to get pierced all over the place. I've got one set of piercings and they're on my ears. That's all. I'm not in favour of other bodily piercings.
Try and talk him out of it. If you think it's wrong too, you're bound to have your reasons why. Try and explain your side to him. Maybe he'll change his mind. And good luck with that. Hopefully he's not too stubborn. I've got a teenage sister who's really stubborn but I still manage to get through to her sometimes.
PS: I'm not that old either. I'm only 18 but have long outgrown that rebellious stage.

not meaning to be sexist or anything, but i think only girls should have both ears pierced, i don't kno why, it just seems the norm these days. more than one piercing is okay in boys but only in one ear. i don't think it will look ridiculous, as such, just a little unusual. it will take a bit of geeting used to but you should admire his courage to be unique. not every boy would have the guts to do somthing so 'girly' as you put it. Altho, i do think he is kinda young. i had to wait until i was eleven to have my first one and i am a girl!! lol
dw, i know quite a few guys with multiple piercigs. i wouldn't worry too much about it. :) hope this helped :)

I think he would look girly at 10 yo but that is my opinion. And besides I am old fashioned in that sense, I like to see boys with no ear piercings whatsoever.

I think he will look fine as long as he stays away from the girly earrings. You know the dangly ones with flowers and such? Earrings in both ears is very common and acceptable now.

One ear girly no, both ears girly yes. Ten years old is way too young to start piercing anything imho, I don't care if the whole neighborhood has done it. If I was his parent I wouldn't let him have a piercing until he was at least 16.
Sorry

Of course it's ridiculous. Boys should only have 1 ear pierced, unless they have female hormones? Have you asked him why he wants both pierced.?

I think it looks odd on both ears. One is fine but not both. If hes 100% sure he wants both, advice him to make sure he wears small studs, nothing too big/flashy. He doenst want to be given a hard time at sucha young age.
Its prob just a phase he is going through tho. Kids always go through things like that!

I think he's going to look girlish if he wears rings on both ears.
But if you don't let him find out good and bad on his own..he's going to look even more ridiculous when he grows up.
And for that matter you've got to hand it to him to have the guts to experiment at the cost of looking ridiculous? what say you?
So don't be adamant, don't put too much pressure on him. Ask him jovially/calmly,tell him your fears..then..LEAVE IT TO HIM.
Stand by him and help him face the music, if he does. IF and When he realizes it was foolish..stand by him and help him back.
G'Luck!
