I have a lot of the same experience and have found companies don't understand the importance of experience. Women in the 60's are retiring from admin jobs they held 20+ yrs - companies think hiring someone young will keep the job that long.

Have you looked into Network Marketing? Take control of your income stream and make it one that will last forever with little effort after the initial setup. Building a downline of distributors duplicates your effort. Find a solid company that's been in business for a long time and has a product that people can't be without. I'm with Sunrider International and they are simple the best.
