I have heard a lot of people say that skin colour undergarments are best to wear under a white wedding dress.. i really want to wear white becasue i think it is a bit more traditional. My dress is a few hours away so i havent had the chance to try it on with my white corset... can any brides help me? Will it show obviously?

It depends on the dress. Wear a white bra when you try it on and you will see. With casual clothes it is always best to wear beige of flesh colored underwear to keep from showing through white pants and skirts, but wedding dresses have so much structure, it would depend on the dress.

With the stockings you can always switch to cream or beige if the lower part is sheer. Ultra sheer stockings will tend to show less, as they have less Lycra and are more transparent. They are also more elegant and feminine and traditional.

No, your corset and stockings will not show under your wedding dress UNLESS your wedding dress is a see-through type dress.

It depends on what type of material the dress is made of but every wedding dress ad always has white under garments ~~

No, go ahead and wear white!! It doesn't show, and if you wear skin-coloured ones it'll contrast to the dress and look REALLY REALLY fake!!

My sister wore white stockings to her wedding(worried and fretted to a very great extent) and the worry was all for naught. She looked great! As will you!!!

Anyhoos, I hope you have a great wedding!!

I wore white under mine and there was no problem. I think it lies within the thickness of the dress, but everyone I know wore white under their's bc it is traditional. I do not think it will show at all.

I doubt it. Wedding dresses are usually pretty thick so it isn't see through. You shouldn't be able to see anything under the dress unless it's a cheap see through kind

it would depend on the dress and corset, if you are quite concerned I would recommend you taking the corset to try on the dress. You should do this anyway as a corset can/will alter how your clothes fit.

Most wedding dresses are made of either a thick enuf material or layers of material so that nothing shows underneath. I am planning on a sexy bustier outfit with garter and hose to surprise my husband on our wedding night as he helps me out of my dress. Congrats.

Go ahead and where white. Even the thinnest dresses usually are lightly lined so yuo can't see it anyway. And even if people do see, who cares?! It's your wedding, enjoy it.

No it will not show. I had a white bra and underwear. No one saw anything under my dress.
