Are you suggesting that strays should be allowed to breed more strays? That makes no sense. Stray dogs need to be contained to protect people and other properly kept pets. What are you suggesting we save these dogs from?

I feel compassion toward the problem you are speakng of
and every community has the same problem....however,
from the health stand point of rabies risk to the more violent
mauling attacks that often cripple or kill children and adults
from large dogs...a community has to do something or the
local officials are in hot water..I would love to see the animals
saved...be like heaven on earth, but who is going to fit the bill? Running a pet shelter and kennel is so expensive most local governments can only house the animals for a very limited time.....then it's gruesome....the rest, a sad story......!

Our society is over-doing the business of animal safety and animal cruelty. It should be an owners responsibility to take care of animals they own. If not, take the animals away and forbid them from buying others or being able to adopt other pets. What we have is a lot of people going the extreme on everything, but there needs to be some common sense here.

Dogs have also breeded out of control like humans, so we need to control both - dogs and humans.
we should save the endangered species on the planet instead of saving stray dogs.

There are enough unloved dogs in the animal shelters now. We need homes for them first before you can worry about future generations of dogs.

WTF are you speaking of? Don't you think we should save the people? Especially all our brave and young American soldiers? Maybe if we ordered them all home, each of them could bring a dog over to your house and you could start a puppy farm!?! Or a Take-Out restaurant!
