I would rather base my belief system and eternal life on a book inspired by God than books written by a flawed, human being.

The Bible has never been proven false-- only affirmed time after time. It will never be proven false, for it is the inspired Word of God.

The mistakes in the Bible prove that its not the Word of God. The story of Adam & Eve is not true because when members of the same family bear children, the offspring are always born with genetic fefects like sterility and Mongolism (Down Syndrome) The ancient people who wrote the story of Noah & the Arc didn't know (or God didn't know it either) that 2 of every species of living things on this planet weighs over 100 million tons and. Noah would have needed an Arc a few miles long. Many people choose to sweep the mistakes in the word of God under the carpet but it doesn't change the fact that thay have been proven false.

If a book is inspired by god that means it wasn't actually written by god, therefore it was written by a flawed human being, well actually several flawed human beings....

What exactly are you basing your belief system and eternal life on??

Well lets take an example or two:--

Worldwide Flood: never happened. Noah's Ark would have had to be increddibly large with heating equipment for tropical animals, refrigeration units for polar animals, separate habitats, means of controlling disease, means of transporting parasites etc etc. And no mention of plants - all the plants would have been destroyed in the flood so where did all the plants go to survive?

Earth only about 6,000 years old: total garbage, evidence demonstrates the Earth to be billions of years old

Talking snakes: you're joking, right?

Turning one substance into another: a conjuring trick any 10-year old could learn and any audience over 2,000 years ago would believe when everything was magic and superstition

Jesus' last words: There are at least three different versions of what Jesus' last words were - they're all different which means that at least two of them must be false.

Coming back to life after being killed and left to rot in a cave: an impossibility

The Bible was written by men who, although perhaps scholarly for their time, were by todays standards ill-educated, superstitious and gullible. They wrote the Bible hundreds of years after the events they describe and the only way they obtained their information was by word of mouth handed down through generations - each of which added to, subtracted from or altered the story to suit their audience.

The Bible was also extensively edited by men, notably in the Third Century AD and at least 30% of the gospels and text simply removed. If the Bible is the word of god then one third of his words are missing. Interesting to note that the missing texts talk about Jesus as a mortal man, not the son of god... The Bible is false for this reason alone... it doesn't contain all the information, only what the organised religions want you to see.

Funny you should say "flawed human being". As the bible was written by human beings it must necessarily be flawed, as is your reasoning.

It has neither proof nor disproof as Word of God.
To proof the Bible is false, someone has to prove God's existence.

However, I can prove you that it were written by Human long after Jesus dead and no eye witness of Jesus life.

That is the key mistake entailed with your ideology, the bible was written by numerous flawed human beings. Scientific ranting aside, the bible proves its own fallacy within its pages.

But keep the faith.

Yes I can, if you believe Jesus. Jesus undermined the credibility of the o.t. in a text known as The Apocryphon of John. Be smart, the true account of creation is from Jesus, not Moses.

Why would anyone want to? If you have to prove something else false just to justify your own faith, then you really do not have faith.
