It would depend on what you mean by "thing."

The biggest plant is a grove of quaking aspen in Utah called Pando. The "grove" is actually one single male organism. The trees are really just different shoots from a single root system.

The biggest animal is the blue whale.

The biggest land formation is a mountain range under the Pacific (which is the biggest body of water and contains the biggest mountains).

The biggest country by area is Russia and the biggest by population is China. Although it is possible that it could actually be India as it's really hard for even the most organized of governments to keep an accurate count.

Technically speaking my guess is that the biggest single thing on Earth is the Earth's mantle. It does make up for most of the Earth's mass. It is just as easy to argue that everything on the Earth is as much a part of the Earth, including the atmosphere, as the mantel and that the mantel is as much one unique thing as a rock or a bird. It also exerts as much force on the rest of the Earth as the rest of the Earth exerts on the mantel.
