Let it grow out. It is there for a reason. It wouldn't be there if it didn't fit your face and hair line. I have one too. I get compliments on mine. I used to hate it, but now I accept it as a part of me.

shaving it off will not help as hair will grow back at some point and will look uglier when they shoot out untamed in all directions.

i wonder whether waxing it is a good option because hair will grow back eventually and will be a bigger nuisance to get them waxed frequently. also there is no guarantee that the hair will become finer and later completely vanish from your forehead.

if it is bothering you to such an extent that you would do anything to get rid of it, then get the hair removed by laser. it is fast but is a bit expensive. the chances are that it will take care of your problem. all you need is to talk to a reputed laser surgeon and ask whether it is safe to get it done o the forehead.

other solutions :
you could try a hairstyle that compliments the peak. take help of your hair dresser.
or wear a cap/scarf/headband.

Wear your widow's peak with pride. It's been handed down to you by all of those that came before you. Never get rid of the things that make you uniquely you. A widow's peak is as feminine as you decide it is. Ours comes from my father's side. Neither my sister or I got it but all of her children did. All six are extremely attractive. All of them wear their hair to show it off. I don't understand why you don't like yours. There are many famous women with widow's peaks that are known for their beauty. Somebody's doing a job on your head. . .

Qualifier: You should always consult with a professional hair stylists before doing any chemical or permanent processes to skin & hair.

That said ... some options for temp. removal include:
a) letting it grow back enough to pluck or wax
b) apply an oil based scalp bleach (no powder bleach) to the area - including a portion of the hair in follicle... however you would need to do patch test on your skin (behind the ear) to see how your skin responds to bleaching agents.
c) laser removal

perm. removal
electrolysis

Sorry, but it's been so many years since I was a hair stylists, but these are a couple of tricks we used.

I did that like 15 years ago....I never did it again. A lot of people have them too. I use to style my hair over that part.

Either wax it often, or try bangs to cover it up. You can cut bangs that sweep to the side. Or use a thick headband to cover it.
