MS Office XP will work fine.

Here is a page that may help with program and hardware incompatibilities:

Office XP should work fine, it's one of the few things they've got right. I'd create a Restore Point (or whatever it's called in Vista) first and, if it doesn't work by any strange quirk, you can always step back & download Open Office for free, it's fully compatible & definitely does run under Vista.

Try it and see if it works.

I installed a legal version of M$-Office 2003 in Vista without any problems.

I certainly have ordered a clean laptop with domicile windows Vista top type version. i'm thinking if my Microsoft workplace common version 2002 will artwork in this laptop. i myself wish it does, as i do no longer desire to spend the extra money to purchase this application lower back. it somewhat works high-quality on my Xp laptop.
