They couldn't get your hair color back up and yellow or gold is a step in the process. The toner is a good idea to tone down the brassy look. If your hair is damaged, go to a good professional. You don't want to damage your hair any further. Get a really good conditioner treatment and condition, condition, condition. It's better to have hair than be blonde.

Use a beige blonde bleach. Then add low lights of various color blonde until you get your desired shade. Talk to the stylist, and make sure they know what you want. They may be able to add a toner to the color you have to tone down the yellow. Good luck, and unless you are experienced with hair color, I would suggest going to get it done by a professional.

You can use shimmering lights, which you mix w/ your normal shampoo and it removes all unwanted yellow and brassy tones from hair after bleaching. I have used it on clients it actually tones it down a lot. Its not damaging it is just shampoo but use enough of it to remove the yellow. You can get it at sally's. Good luck. Hope I helped. Either go back to the salon, where they should put a toner on for you free of charge, or for a temporary solution go to the local super market or shop and buy a shampoo called touch of silver. This will take out any yellow on your hair. It may look purple when it comes out, but leave it on for a few mins...

The the only "natural" restoration method is *regrowth*.
