again sorcery is Used as a weapon according to the book of revelation. thchurch that is not a church and has many people of God as their members also practice these things because the nations are deceived by the power of the culture of babylon. see Rev 17:1,5 18:4, 23,24
the very fact that this KIND of people kill the saints and that jesus often proclaimed the wickedness of men who kill the prophets suggest that it is not dillusional to Make these claims as i do! in the book of mormon, too, there are many peoples who joined secret combinations and joined secret societies to get gain and power. Part of their powers are to do many kinds of witchcrafts and sorceries.
it is written therefore it is true.

Those who call themselves brothers, but indulge in sorcery are not true Christians.

I have some relatives who believe that if they squint really hard and say very repetitive prayers in a loud, almost shouting excited voice while they gesture vehemently and hold hands together, God will do as they are commanding him. I'm of the opinion that this (along with other things they do) is a form of modern-day Voodoo. If someone is talking to the being they believe is the creator of the universe, I think these practices are a pretty bad idea. It's disrespectful for one thing and for another, I heard somewhere that Christianity is supposed to be about love. I doubt the spirit of God is involved with them being so disrespectful.

By prayer for healing, forgiveness and deliverance.
This works -- I have a friend who delivers people from addiction and demonic infection, and you can ask her if you need to hear first-hand testimony and experience.

For documented testimonies and straightforward explanation of the differences in spiritual healing and negative forces,
I recommend the book 'Healing' by Francis MacNutt.

It talks about departing and denouncing the use of dark forces, which do not mix well with the light forces, but tend to clash and cause death and destruction.

From his 30+ years of experience with healing ministry, he recommends casting out demonic influences, and praying to heal and forgive past incidents, memories or events that these dark forces are attracted to. Otherwise, the negative energies continue to cause ailments, both medical or psychological, spiritual and physical.

The very first step in departing from and diffusing negative energy is to FORGIVE and let go so GOD can step in and guide the steps to take. The whole conflict, the causes known or unknown, the curse or initial incident that led to the infestation addiction or action, all that must be handed over to higher authority first.

The book "Healing" contains the exorcism prayer to deliver a person from oppressive or addictive influence. Please look for this book, edition 1999 or later, which explains the difference between healing the mind and body, and healing the spirit of demonic influences that require special treatment in order for the other healing to take place that can otherwise be blocked.

As a witch I should say that when you worry too much on evil spells being sent to you you're just empowering it. There are many spells and witchy solutions to it. simple one: go the beach and leave a peace of clothing in the water, so that the water would take the bad energies, if worried about littering, bring something biodegradable. For Christians the obvious answer is to pray and fast. All gods are one God, and no gods do evil ask God in you own way to get rid of evil in your life.

relies upon on what you're refering to as witchcraft and sorcery. there are a number of myths surrounding those 2 words which could in basic terms be utilized in thoughts and to no longer famous day communities.

First, I don't worship demons. Let's just get that out of the way. There is nothing evil about my religion.

Second, was not at one time the idea that the world was round and that there were herbs that could heal considered witchy ideas? Next time you take an aspirin, or you rub aloe on a sunburn, remember that this "herb lore" was once "sorcery".

Well, I am not a Christian though I respect all religions, including Christianity. In our land, if we suspect that some one is victim of sorcery, yes, we use white magic to counteract that. Black magic and white magic are like negative and positive numbers. If you have a negative balance in your account, you counter that by adding a larger positive amount. Negative energies can be countered by positive energies.

Let's assume that these things exist. Is there any reason why you think you might be a deserving victim of a hex or something? If so, doesn't that imply you have some problems of your OWN that you should work out, before dreaming up some kind of metaphysical battle?

Gee, I go away for a month and one ignoramus is replaced with another!!
I know way more "evil" Christians than I do witches or sorcerers.
Perhaps YOU should learn what witchcraft REALLY is, and not from a Christian viewpoint.
