from my parents (because they are very very religious and they wouldn't approve) and also for my job, any ideas of places on my body that are easy to conceal? And if your thinking its gunna be a home made one or im not mature or old enough, trust me, i live in california, and most parlors will do it on anyone as long as they have someone of age with them, so its gunna be legitamate. and im mature, you probably wouldnt even see or hear of anything as bad as some of the things ive been through, so im mature waayy beyond my years.
oh and btw, i was thinking a butterfly? i dunno, tat ideas too please!

Pick a spot and a design that you will be guaranteed to like 70 years from now. Oh crap, I sound old now don't I!

If you want to get a tattoo, and are insisting that you are "mature enough" to make that decision, then why aren't you "mature enough" to face your parents about the decision?

Places to hide a tattoo (for those people who really aren't "mature enough" to get one)
Anywhere normally covered by underwear would generally conceal a tattoo, unless you're a family of nudists, in which case there would be no where!
For a discrete, but not impossible to see tattoo, anywhere that would be covered by a singlet top and shorts. Small of the back isn't a good place as tops can become untucked.
For most work situations anywhere that could be covered by a short sleeved top, and pants, would be discrete enough.
Hope that's a help, and please talk to them, if you really believe that you ARE MATURE ENOUGH!

Hips and upper back are relatively easy places to hide tattoos. I even had a friend who got a tattoo behind her ear. As for the ideas, I wouldn't go with a butterfly. That has to be the most common tattoo out there. Try to think of something more meaningful. After all, it's going to be there forever. :)

Think about a few things before you do it because, you already know you will and where it will be.

Maturity and wisdom are very different things.

Tattoos are permanent (how will that tattoo look when youre 60?)

Your parents love you. Show them some respect.

my sister had a tattoo when she was 15, shes 20 now and my dad still doesn't know about it, it is on her back up towards her left shoulder, she managed to wear vest tops in summer as it isn't too bit and if she was in the house she held a jacket over her shoulder. ankle is a good place, or your foot, it hurts there though.

on your torso,....but seriously ...why hide it if you are old enough and mature enough...your parents may not like it but they won t stop loving you because of it...job is a different reason...if it is in policy to not have tattoos showing then you need to follow policy... gett a tattoo that has personal meaning for YOU not someone else...Good Luck

Down by your ankle is a good place so that ypu can always cover it up with your socks if you have to. You can wear anything you want during the summer as long as you wear socks and tennis shoes nobody will be able to see it perfect for hiding it.

lower or upper back, or over your heart, or you might consider your head (i know it sounds extreme, shave your head, get a tattoo and then grow hair back over it, but it works for some people... drunk guys even forget theyve got them) or maybe a shoulder? it all depends on what sort of clothing you wear. keep in mind that wear you put it will affect what you need to wear from now on.
