If I were to have a tablespoon of raisins with my breakfast cereal and then eat a handful of grapes later on in the day would these both count separately towards my '5-a-day' ?

Huh? Screw 5 a day. Eat what you want, when you want. There was a 117 year old man in the news that survived by eating bacon fried in lard every day.

If he would have told that to a doctor, he would have called him crazy, immediately put him on a fruit and vegetable diet, and he would have been dead within a week.
