I just recently set up the dish network for Greek shows for my other tvs, but not the LCD one, but I'm not getting any cable channels on there. It's a real mystery to me because this LCD TV was bought in Febuary and I think its too early to ruin on me. So what do you guys think?

Also, I have the high definition in back of the LCD T.V and I wonder if that has to do with anything in affecting the tv?

You mention dish network, which is satellite and not cable.

In any case, if the TV is connected directly to a cable via RF, go to the TV menu and do a channel scan.
If you use a set-top box, then the problem is with the set-top box, not the TV.
