most muslims do not condemn acts of terrorism. and it is a fact. because most of these acts are in the name of allah, they are compelled not to voice their protest against it.

The recent bomb blast at a mosque in Hyderabad, India. How many muslims leaders reacted? Now that shows what muslims are. the ones who planted the bombs were Bangaldeshi muslims. so how can they condemn such acts which are carried out as per the wish of allah.

let me state another fact: 99% of terrorists are muslims. No one can deny this fact.

Just so you know, Everything that comes into the United States Media (includeing Al-Jazaeera English) goes through an Israeli editing program. Muslims condemn terrorism all the time. The media just doesn't report it, American, British Australian or Canadian.

Here's an example. I'm Muslim. I condemn terrorism.

"In the Name of God, the Most Merciful, and Most Compassionate"

I'm 62 years of age, born in the United States Of America, served in the Armed Forces and am near retirement and I'm a Sufi (Mystical Islam).
Islamic peoples are just as confused as you are, concerning the terrorism running rampant in the world today. Certain clerics around the world have twisted the Truth within the Quran, and deceived many of their followers. Terrorism is despicable in the eyes of Islam, and Islam condemns this Insanity.
Jihad is the word that is the most misunderstood.
There is an inner and outer Jihad.
The true Jihad is the inner, (That which takes place within the innermost heart of man), struggle between good and evil, that man must wage battle with, and be victorious.
The outer is the struggle within the world.
Muhammad (PBUH) pointed to the inner struggle as the one that man must focus on and not get entangled in the outer aspect.
The outer aspect of Jihad is that which the clerics have involved their followers in, and this is undeniably wrong.
This outer Jihad involving terrorism is presently condemned by the masses within the Islamic community.

I truly hope that this helps clarify the position of the Islamic community regarding terrorism.

In every religion or group there are extremists and that's what terrorists are. They aren't so much muslims as extremists. Like the extremist Christians who bomb birth control clinics. Christians don't condone killing to save babies but extremists DO. Muslims don['t condone terrorism but what can they do about those that go too far? They can condemn it all they want but it won't change to loonies!

I am a Muslim and I condemn all terrorist acts in the name of my religion. I belive in peace. It is the basic teachings of Islam that 'evil cannot be fought by evil' . But where is my voice and voice of ordinary millions of Muslims amidst the 24 hour broadcasters who shows and glorifies few terrorists to be representatives of Islam.
