People who ask ignorant questions are ignorant people. How many times have you heard someone say in a math class, When are we going to use this is real life? Well................ the majority of the stuff, you really don't need to use but you will get tested on it in the future like for the SATs, so people should stop be such an smart a$$ and suck it up. I think this type of question is (in my opinion) is not considered racist because the people who asked these questions are too lazy to learn a new language and do not have respect for other languages. It's not that they don't have respect for the ethic groups but do not care to learn another language because they are fine with the language they know

Racism is prejudice about someone's ethnic origins, not about their language.
In the context which you are talking about, there are various reasons why questions in a specific language have to be posted on the appropriate website. The main one is a question of tidiness: there is no point in cluttering a site with questions that people do not understand. Another is that there might be inappropriate terminology or contents in the questions. The different language sites are monitored by speakers who can grasp the content of the questions, and establish if they are offensive or not.
There is nothing to prevent you from posting questions in another language on the appropriate site for the language which you wish to use. On the English website, post your question in English, then add below the sentence or the terms for which you want an explanation.
I hope this has helped.

I don't think it's racist for an English site to have questions in English. I don't think you are being dumb, but I think you maybe looking for problems/a fight. There is enough racism in the world, you don't have to search hard to find it. Spend your energy fighting that, por favor.

No, you're not "imparcial" -- you're just wrong. There is a whole site dedicated to the U.S. EN ESPAÑOL. What other country has separate sites dedicated to Spanish?

If you ask in Spanish, some of us nice people who don't enjoy insulting those who ask a perfectly innocent question will answer. I for one love helping people in Spanish! So don't listen to what some of those other people say. It is their opinion, but it is not your fault for asking a question- that is what our site is for.
