The oldest religion is love thy neighbour and love God, whether God is Buddha, Jehova, Mahoma, Jesus, etc. If you are especifically asking between Christ and Mahoma, Mahoma came first in History although both are Profets and at the end God is one and only and He is love and mercy.

Well the primal religions are technically among the oldest, but Hinduism is the oldest organized religion still in existence. Christianity came about 600 years before Islam. Christianity came about... oh.... 5 thousand years or so after the primal religions.

The oldest religion in the world is Hinduism. The Rig Veda was written down sometime around 5000BCE (or 3000BCE depending on the calculations of the scholars).

Which is older Christianity or Islam?
Christianity began before Islam...by just a few hundred years. Judaism predates both of them. In fact Judaism is usually only a few thousand years younger than Hinduism. Hinduism is the oldest, but Judaism then comes into existence in the western world by just a few thousand years (some scholars put its beginings at 2500BCE-2000BCE....again depending on the calculations of the scholars). Christianity began in 32CE(AD) and Islam began in 422CE(AD).

HINDUISM..

Oldest of the world's major religions. It evolved from the Vedic religion of ancient India. The major branches of Hinduism are Vaishnavism and Shaivism, each of which includes many different sects. Though the various sects each rely on their own set of scriptures, they all revere the ancient Vedas, which were brought to India by Aryan invaders after 1200 BCE. The philosophical Vedic texts called the Upanishads explored the search for knowledge that would allow mankind to escape the cycle of reincarnation. Fundamental to Hinduism is the belief in a cosmic principle of ultimate reality called Brahman and its identity with the individual soul, or atman. All creatures go through a cycle of rebirth, or samsara, which can be broken only by spiritual self-realization, after which liberation, or moksha, is attained. The principle of karma determines a being's status within the cycle of rebirth. The greatest Hindu deities are Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The numerous other Hindu gods are mostly viewed as incarnations or epiphanies of the main deities, though some are survivors of the pre-Aryan era. The major sources of classical mythology are the Mahabharata (which includes the Bhagavadgita, the most important religious text of Hinduism), the Ramayana, and the Puranas. The hierarchical social structure of the caste system is also important in Hinduism; it is supported by the principle of dharma. In the 20th century Hinduism blended with Indian nationalism to become a powerful political force in Indian politics. In the early 21st century there were more than 850 million Hindus worldwide...

The oldest religion is more of a ritual. What i mean is berrying the dead. I don't think they had a concept of religions doctrines. This was while we were not as evolved. The concept was that if we buried the dead the animals won't take the dead and maybe they can be safe in the ground. This was the original religion.

Christianity is older the Islam, Judaism pre-dates both.

Neither one. The oldest faith on earth is that of ancient Egypt and it was not "mythological" as idiots put it out to be in present day. MYTHS do not stay "organized" for a period of 2400 years as the faith of Egypt did, NOR do they BUILD structures not even the BEST "geniuses" amongst us still can't figure out. The MYTHS are these religions that degrade women and pass off a GOD OF WRATH as being the holy Father in heaven. They don't live in peace for their BLASPHEMIES against the holy now do they? They suffer for their IGNORANCE.........
