I've noticed that the most populated religions and groups of people are also the most widely discussed beliefs.

Does this mean that they are also the most reasonable?

Since the religions that are now more populated have more number of adherents there are more number of people to talk about it. that cetinly is not an unmistakeable measur of the religion being reasonable .I is just like the leaves in a tree .since they are abundant and more than he fruits , they ae not the thing to e eaten or more valuable .
Why are those religons have more adherents ? The reason is a well -known one . The most popular are the christinity and Ialam.these two religions were popuilarised by conversion of people by force and threat and by persuationand inducements .Christinaity was forced on the people of Europe through crushade with the aid of the force of the state .A religion supposed to preach peace and love and non-violence was spread by force and threat of sword .Islam which has heavily borrowed from the bible , followed suit anf spread the religion by Jihad .islam itself preached force and violence and killing of non -belivers by givine the inducement of some seventy five or so women in the after lif to have sex for eternity .People who belived in the offer of Allah in the ater life and were mad after sex took to it with fervour and killed as many non-belivers as possible.Because of he thrat ofd sword , a lot of innocent people converted themselve to Islam.During the reign of Aurangazeeb in india , he levied a poll tax ,called jizzia on the hindus who refused to convert to Islam , sothat thier lives could be spared and they could be offered protction from execution by the Muslim state .Islam alsosanctioned the mariage of four wives and and allowed the keeping of an many concubines as one can maintain, these factors account for the large number of adherents to those religions .the Hindu religion ,never believed in persuasive or forcible conversion .Even Budhism offers inducement of equal treatment and eradication of untouchablity prciced by the Hindu reliogion .
the hindu have been behaving in an inhuman manner towards the lower caste people contry tpothe teachings of the religion itself . The religion does nt advocate untouchability .but untouchability which was based on hygein came to be praciced as one of caste itself .they hindus do not want the dalits o convert to other religion ; but at the same time they do not treat the dalits also as humans and treat them as untouchable .this way the Hindus are idiotic and force the people toconvert to other religions .
The people of other religioins appea to be most reasonble in that they promoise to treat the dalits as equal to the otehr members of those religions.they do it to some extent .Conversion tootherreligion itself is done on the ground that the Hindu religion has caste system.but een after the conversion , the converted /christians and Muslims claim concessions on the bais of heir hindu castes . these are people who refuse to abide by the general law of he land and demand special laws on the basis of heir religions .but in the matter of concession on the basi is of the former hindu castes , the religious issues do not come forward .Cate discremination is agaist those religons .How is iot thaose who converted to the religions of christianity and Islam enjoy concessions on the bais of he Hindu castes /Are these people reasonable ?They do not bring in the religons whensomethkin g is favourable to them; but raise the religious point whenit is inconvenient to them. Now the idiotic State goernment of Tamil nadu has proposed the extension of reservarions for the minority relgions irrespecti of he castes of the members .this means tha the memvbers of those religons who belong to the forward castes will also be eleigible for concessions .this amounts to encpourageing even the forward castes among the Hindus to convert to christianity or Islam so that they will beelibile for reservation as people of minority religions , which they were not eligible as Hindus .
So the state itself is subtly encouraging conversion. This the DMK government is doing out opf its enmity towards the Hindu religion. the Hindus should ewake up to this threa and should eradicate the attempts of the DMK party to destroy the Hindu religion. The Hindus do not seem to have the same amoutn of affinity towards theri religons as the other people .
As regards the relgions , none of the oehr religons have are capable of showing the God and does the hindu religion.it is the only one which has even some 6000 years ago, exposed the true nature of the cosmos and the nature of creation, sustenence and annihilation of the entire universe which humanity has come to realise scientifically only during the 20Th century.
Who among he threee people ae reasonable ? Thse who spread their religions by force , threat of sword and inducements or those who did not bother to teach their religion to those who wanted to know about it and practioced the policy of dicrimination against the lower calstes and shut the doors of her temple to the people of other religions as in the guruvayoor temple ?
The Hindus are driving people away from the religion by creatingpractices hat are not part of he religion itslef .this is out of ego of the people in charge of the temple . the eradication of ego is the main principle of the Hindu religion; but the people in charg eof the temple are highly arrogant and egoistic .This is unfortunat and this will reduce the strength opf the religion in course of time .shut the door of the religions for those who want to embrace it .

Popularity, by logical reasoning, is the very antithesis of "the road less traveled"; if more traveled that road, it would no longer be "less traveled" and thereby become a path of popularity.

That said, the reason you see the most widely-believed beliefs contested or defended here is because, as a result of their popularity within their respective groups, they subsequently become the subject of controversy for people of other groups. Again... nothing more than basic logic.

The amount of media attention to diverse segregations is not an inclination of their capabilities. Are they the most reasonable? Surely not, they are the most exposed. Each person has a right to form a decision on their own. We may be brought up in certain religions, yet deter from them as we get older. It's all a matter of principle and opinion. Each person has the freedom to decide for his or herself. Some things just get a certain amount of attention just because of controversy or diversity, we are voyeurs by nature, we want to know everything about everything, so we give that extra attention to what fascinates us. It does not judge it's competency...

Most people are followers because it is the easy path. Going the road less traveled can be a lonely one.

People are afraid to think for themselves. They find less conflict by simply agreeing with others.
