I just wanted to tell you that, you're doing a hell of a job and i have a great respect for what you're doing and trying to fix things. I know how you feel. I'm having the same problems but unfortunately can't give you a better advise than you already know. Ups and downs will always be there but if your pain get unbearable, i suggest you go back on med's again. It's not worth the risk. Any how, just wanted to say Hi, also that, you're not alone. Take care of yourself and i wish the best.

My suggestion is to consider the possibility that you stopped the meds and are dropping to your "natural" levels, which may well be lower than what would be considered "normal".
All the speculation though is really of little help to you. This is a matter between you and your Dr. You really should leave outside opinions out of your decisions of health and well being.

See the antidepressant websites at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris on page 2: read that page, and see www.drugs.com on yours. I'd go on a half dose for several weeks, then taper off, as advised, to minimise withdrawal symptoms, adopting the alternative treatments in the meantime, and thereafter.

With some antidepressants you need to wean yourself off them. Stopping cold turkey can wreak havoc on your body and your emotions. Did you stop the antid's on your own or did you discuss getting off them with your doctor? If you just stopped taking them you may be dealing with withdrawal symptoms. Go talk to your doctor before you do anything else with your meds.

it seems like you did not discuss this with your doctor. which could be very dangerous, the fact that your doing sports is good, but you may not be ready to go off your meds, go to your and talk about it .

anti depressant therapy may cause exacerbation of depression,if it was removed abruptly, the best way is to taper down the dose, with ongoing re evaluation of the case.
