For a while I used IE, then went on to Firefox. When Softy released IE 7 with tabs, I figured to give it a try. Well it seems nice, but I keep encountering a situation every time I use it. The browser works great if I have only a single window open. But when I have another tab (or multiple), the second they start to load a web page the whole browser application freezes on me (not the computer). The only add-ons I've had on there is Java and Blog This, but I've disabled them and still get the same problems. Please help!

If you wait long enough, does it recover.
I have found that IE7 is very sensitive to memory size and disk space for virtual memory and it really fills up with backup copies of old pages, not getting rid of them until every single copy of IE7 is shut down and the last one shut may take tens of seconds as it clears off. I have checked Tools, Internet Options, Advanced - Empty Temporary Internet Files When Exiting (way down the list)
You may have a very big stock of files and need to go to Tools, Internet Options, clear history.
You may also need to buy more memory and clean up your hard drive.

yea you have some serious spyware or a virulent disease nevertheless. Its a browser hijacker it sort of feels. i could basically run a restoration in case you are able to. in case you cant attempt spybot s and d. Adaware 6, and spywareblaster.
