He probably dreams of running in a huge field, with you throwing a toy for him to fetch. He'd probly dreaming of spending his time with you and you with him ^_^

Every dog does it. The same as us, they also dream with the things it does, and happen to it during the day.

I Know, My dog does that too, It cracks me up. I always say "there he goes, chasing rabbits again" I do think they must be dreaming about something. why else would they do this.???I don't know if there is any "evidence" about dog's dreams, but it sure is funny to watch.

I don't know if there has been research done but my dogs seem to dream. I wake them if they seem like they're struggling or are frightened.
One of my dogs has been harassed while we weren't home so I think that may give her bad dreams. She knows she's safe when I wake her.

My dog does that at night after being scolded in the day. I am not really sure if they are connected, however that when I notice it. You never know what is on their mind. They are so funny sometimes!

Both my dogs do this, however my chunky one gets confused if he barks too loud. He starts whooffing and has to check everything out! It's soooo cute!!!

My boxer used to do this. :)
I guess they are dreaming that they are running happilly - maybe even chasing after something fun.
Actually her barking was the funniest part because it was so half-hearted, more like a mumbling. :)

My dog does that too. But I don't think he is fully asleep. I think he is only half asleep. He must be growling to keep predators away before he actually falls deep asleep.
