nope. It just lifts stains. It's really hard to strip enamel off your teeth. It's the hardest substance in the human body. They are completely safe.

Yes a lot of whitening products , especially over the counter ones are pretty rough on the enamel of your teeth. Its better just to go to the dentist and discuss the best alternatives. Peroxide or Baking soda work pretty good, these are what they used before commercial products were even dreamt of.

It doesn't strip it but it can cause some sensitivity. It is a bleach so you should only use it every 6 months or so. My sister is a dental hygenist. Also try to use the 15% solution - as the other ones higher (20%) can cause more sensitivity.
