Red-Line is Synthetic oil from a blender in Southern California. Nothing more or less. Viscosity and type of oil you buy as well as amounts will be found on section 9 page #2 of your owners hand book... Please read that book... 1 3/4 quart of manual transmission fluid (not hyploid gear oil) HQ multi 75wt - 85wt. That is what we used to call mineral oil or gear lube #4 (GL-4)very little smell to it. Red line bottles look just alike so make sure it says manual trans oil or don't pump it in. The weight of the oil does not have to match perfectly just the first number has to be close. Syncro dammage not covered by warranty will result if you put in rear end grease.
Engine oil just buy Mobil 1 or Castrol Syntec 5wt to 10wt over 30wt or 40wt depending on your outside temps.

I do not know any model numbers, but I can tell you redline is a very good oil. It is more suited for high performance cars, however, and lower drain intervals. It's the perfect oil to run in a car with a turbo/super charger, or a high compression/high performance motor.

For your car i'd recommend amsoil, use the viscosity recommended in your owners manual, for both transmission and engine.

Neither. ALL Porsches come crammed with Mobil a million from the producing unit. Use in basic terms Mobil a million (or between the few different Porsche-cautioned oils that meet Porsche spec A40) or you may have hardship down the line. it relatively is the sole oil I ever put in mine, and it nevertheless has a extra effective ZDDP point (1100 ppm) suitable for the older, air-cooled engines. From the Mobil One internet site: "Mobil a million 0W-40 guy made engine oil has been the ... cautioned provider fill for all Porsche engines on account that 1996." From the Porsche united states internet site: "Porsche explicitly recommends Mobil a million as provider lubricant."
