i found an ad for 2006 lexus GS300 for 32,000. it has rear spoiler and nav. however, it has 34,000 mileage. i think the price is pretty good compared with others but that high mileage is making me have second thoughts...what do you guys think?

34k is not really high mileage. but take it to a certified mechanic and have it checked out if he says its ok then go for it and use a private mechanic most do not charge for a look over. also make sure to test drive it in city and highway conditions...cars react differently at lower speeds than at higher speeds

I tend to agree with you. Even though those cars are made for life, the mileage is quite high - especially for an 06. Unless you can negociate a better price in lu (sp?) of the miles?

How on earth does someone drive 34,000 miles in one year? Gosh can you imagine the beating that poor car went through? NO WAY - do not buy that thing!!!! Look for one with less miles - much less!

34,000 miles is A LOT for a 2006. You should find out if it had it's 30k maintence.
I don't think it would be a wise investment.

wow, 32 grand for a used lexus? yuck! you can buy a 200x BMW M5 for under $30 grand and that car will surely turn heads . . . and impress the ladies (if that's what you are looking for).

don't buy a used car..you'll probably be driving down the highway one day.and your muffler falls off.. lights on fire..and blows your whole car up..
