Yes, my suggestion is to seriously TRY to log everything down it WILL make you change the way you're eating as you said yourself it's letting yourself down as well as your trainer who believes in you and is working hard with you to achieve your goal.
Eat healthier snacks.....fruits/veggies.lots of water.....exercise..as for the URGES with fast food .....only YOU can change that. You have to decide what you want more....the urges or losing the weight? Eventually when you've lost the weight..you can enjoy 'fast food' once in a while. Talk to your trainer and ask how you can allow SOME fast food into your weekly meals...he may say ok..once a week you can eat either (burger /fries) or (onion rings with chicken wings etc).....But seriously think to yourself......you wanted a personal trainer because you have a goal to achieve to make yourself look and feel better about yourself. It's not worth....having your trainer say " im not taking my time to train you when you just go out and pig out on junk food/greasy food" if you're not willing to put 110% into this...either will your trainer". There's so much more you can choose to eat when out at a fast food place with co workers or friends etc.....healthier choices......Fish...chicken.salads..instead of french fries or burgers etc* I would talk to your trainer and continue doing what he/she says is best for YOU*! Explain how difficult it is to fight these urges.....they can HELP YOU that's what they're there for*~ Believe in them and believe in yourself. YOU CAN DO THIS~ :)

A few suggestions...
First, add up how much you spend a week on fast food.. there ya go - it should almost scare you out of eating it. After two weeks of not eating out take that money and buy yourself some new clothes for the weight you should have lost.. I am a curves trainer here so I sort of know what I am talking about... Second - eating out is not always bad. Make the right choices - fast food - maybe not the best - but go get a steak somewhere and just eat the meat and veggies - lean protein - the body burns it quicker than fat and carbs. Also another technique is to ask for a box at the beginning of your meal - split it and take half home - if its not on your plate - you wont eat it. Sub water or tea instead of soda. One last suggestion - make those favorite foods at home - even though they may not be the best for you a hamburger made at home is a ton healthier than a hamburger from a fast food place. Maybe try substituting for veggie patties - black bean are very good but again - low carb - high protein - 5 small meals a day - will keep you full throught the day so you wont want to sit down and eat a big meal. Thats all I got. hope any of it helps. Let me know if theres anymore I can help with.

If you are hungry its easy to get on the junk food / drive thru band wagon. So as a matter of principal, just dont let yourself get hungry!!!
If you eat 6 small meals throughout the day, you will not get hungry and the URGE TO SPLURGE wont be so hard to ignore. Just think of food a little differently, start thinking of it only as FUEL for your body to burn.
NOTE: the trick is to keep the 6 meals tiny but healthy: 1 apple or banana, a handful of almonds ( a dozen or so ) and maybe a yogurt cup would be one example for a morning
You can get really inventive too: when I really need chocolate or something sweet sometimes I have a banana with a low fat chocolate pudding (if you freeze the banana a bit and DUNK IT, you will not believe how satisfying it is !!! PS: NO GUILTY FEELINGS EITHER. GOOD LUCK KIDDO!!!

Easy! Put about $100 dollars all in $1 format thingies.. so basically 100 $1 in a jar. And like.. Reward yourself! So like.. If you can make it past without fast food a week get 5 or a dollar. The less fast food you eat, the more of a chance you can get what ever girls want at the mall!

When you are trying to change your lifestyle and habits, you really do need to log it for a while (at least). There will be disappointing days, but in the end you will see just exactly what you put into your body. It does help and sometimes can be a good shocker to give an extra push. Your trainer is there to help you and there will be days that both of you will be disappointed, but in the end, you will find that it was worth it.
Good luck!

if you are lucky enough to have a personal trainer than u should work hard... im not overweight but if i had a personal trainer i would do whatever he says and do whatever makes him or her happy because ur personal trainer wants the best for YOU. listen to your trainer and resist ur urges... my aunt put a picture of herself in her bikini on her fridge so that everytime she wants to eat she sees that picture and then she changes her mind... that could be helpful for you to do also :] good luck <3
