putting the earing in. BUt always get it done by a professional (at hair salon place or somewhere...dont let a Friend pierce it, you're asking for infection*)
Keeping the earing clean...and not allowing it to get infected....once it's been in your ear for a certain amount of time (the store will tell you how long to keep it in for before changing it...and how to clean it etc) when it's time you can take it out and change to a different earing......it may slightly hurt but nothing like when it first is pierced.*

If the earing is in the ear, my answer would be neither. I have had four holes and none of them really hurt. Maybe a little pinch feeling during the actual ear piercing.

Nothing worth crying over.

taking it out. as getting it pierces is like a pinch. and normally the ones they pierce u with are donw up hard so u have to pull hard to get it off which makes it hurt. but then aftrer a while itll be fine anyways :)
if thers anything ur unsure about, best to go back to the place that pierced it to ask

I think putting it in. Taking it out is easy and does not hurt.

Hurts most when people yank on it. In and out is nothing, unless you have an infection

Once the hole has been made neither one hurts. There is no pain involved once the hole is healed.
