Heck no. If 40 was old then I would be pushing old haha. You are in the prime of you life where you have learned a lot and know what you really want out of life. Live it the way you want and live it well. Never let anyone tell you that you are old. Enjoy the day for tomorrow is a new adventure. Have a great day.

No, a 40 year old woman is not "old". I believe that people around the ages of 70 and up are beginning to get old. A 40 year old woman must already have a stable lifestyle if she has worked hard in life. She will most likely be mature and know what she wants in life.

If the question stated "is 40 old or young" then the answer is old, but like alot of answers before this one, old is a frame of mind. I recently turned 40 and pondered that very same question for a while until I came to the realization that 40 IS old but mostly to young people. I didn't feel old but I didn't feel like I was 20 either, I looked back over my last 20 years and realized that I don't think I would want to be 20 again, especially this day in age. Sure there were alot of good times in the last 20 years but there were also alot of hard times, alot of hard lessons learned to get to where I am now. You are to the point in your life that you should start living for you, be happy with who you are but never settle, always set goals however small they may be, as you go about life trying to obtain the goals you set you will worry less and less about the superficial things you are worrying about now and realize what people think of you really doesn't matter as much as what you think of yourself.

Considering that I am 45 and my girlfriend is 40, I would get smacked a good one for saying that 40 is old. It isn't. There is still a lot of productive and fruitful life ahead of a 40-year-old.

Some of the hottest women on the planet are 40. Good grief, have you seen the body that Sherl Crow has? There are 20 year old who do not look half as good.
40 old? No way! It is all in how you feel, how you take care of yourself and how you live. 40 can be hot, if you want it to be.

No I think that a 40 year old woman would be middle aged. She would not be "old." Old would be above 70 years of age to me.

probably if the guy is under 60. the fun is usually gone in females 40 and over. when the baby maker is shutting down a females value begins to fade. she is no longer viable to society. she gets angry and bitter because the luster is gone. the angrier she gets the more people avoid her and the angrier and more bitter she becomes, she starts to try and regain her youth by trying to live her childrens life for them. she then alienates them and becomes more bitter. which pushes people farther away from her. yes she is old. she doesn't have to be though. all the tight jeans and cute haircuts won't hide those wrinkles on the elbows which says old.

Not at all. That's the age where women really seem to take on a lot of class and character. I am 38 and I have always in my 30's prefered to date women older than me. They just seem to have a better sense of who they are. Women my age always seem to have too much childishness left and it's not attractive. Women with grace are always more attractive and this doesn't really show through until about 40 or after.
